The heading says it all. I am no expert but this app has all the bells and whistles Ill ever need. To correct a previous reviewer who cant get compass to work: on your device settings scroll down to the app and open location then check to see that the location is in the "on" position. Then it works fine.

I have had this app several months. When out at night, I know what Im looking at. It is never asking if I want to upgrade. This has everything and more than I need. Very happy I paid a little more and got this app.

I bought the Plus version. Its the most Ive ever paid for an app. It is worth the cost. Powerful, easy to use, and the Help text is very good and the customizability is extensive but strict forward. I use this more than the program on my PC I spent hundreds of dollars for. I use it to guide my telescope and it is very easy and intuitive. I also like the ability to create custom observing lists and record observations. The information and pictures of each object are informative and interesting. Many if not most have accompanying detailed photos.

This app has replaced several books and several other apps. It just does everything I want. Great!

Ive tried a bakers dozen of the leading programs. No comparison. This is by far the best.

Very powerful and incredibly helpful when planning my star gazing adventures

This app is state of the art in amateur astronomy circles. Its visual presentation of the skies are great, and its search functions are simple and effective. Plus I found it intuitive to use with very little learning curve. I use the plus version to control my scope via wifi and it works flawlessly with my 8SE.

This is the most useful astronomy app I have found. Use it at every observing session. Great for public events, you can give details of what is being observed quickly and accurately.

This App is a must for amateur astrophotographers. There are a significant number of objects in the database and information such as coordinates,altitudes,and transit times make choosing an object easy! Great for visual astronomers as well!

Sky Safari is an amazing astronomical tool. Ive used to locate objects, identify objects I see in the night sky, and also use it to help plan observing and aero-imaging sessions. Its also come in handy as a visual aid where I was able to show friends the actual orbital alignment of the planets during this Summers Venus-Jupiter conjunction! Its a fantastic app - a must have for anyone interested in the night sky!

Does everything I need and then some

As always, this is a great piece of software worth every penny.

I have a dozen astronomy apps and most are great programs that I have previously rated as 5 Start apps. But Sky Safari Pro is by far the best of all the astronomy apps I have. Easy to use, very comprehensive and fun to use. Well worth the price of a couple of astronomy magazines. Buy it and read thru the help screens and you will never look back. Truly a must buy for all astronomy fans.

This just keeps getting better and better. I withhold my highest praise for apps like SkySafari.
